As a Commercial Manager with a focus on data analytics, you will be responsible for analyzing our business’s performance, identifying growth opportunities, helping shape our product mix, and conducting price analysis and revenue modeling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leverage your strong analytical and modeling skills, and provide valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Your ability to interpret data, produce actionable reports, communicate insights effectively, and model pricing and revenue scenarios will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess the performance of various products, market segments, and customer segments, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Opportunity Identification: Use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and areas where the company can expand or optimize.
  • Product Mix Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help shape our product mix, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
  • Price Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies, market pricing trends, and competitive pricing to ensure optimal pricing structures.
  • Revenue Modeling: Develop revenue models and scenarios to support business planning, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, presenting data-driven recommendations to senior management.
  • Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting.
  • BI Tools: Utilize advanced data analysis tools, including Excel and other Business Intelligence (BI) software, to extract and visualize data effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in a data analytics role, ideally in a commercial or business management context.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to handle and interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills to convey data-driven insights and recommendations clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify business opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data analysis.

Leicestershire HQ: This role requires a 2-3 day onsite commitment per week with flexibility as / when required.

Initial 12 month FTC.

You’ll be key in helping shape future of varied product offering, making data-driven decisions, conducting price analysis, and modeling revenue scenarios that drives business performance.
